Formed in the 1970/71 season, Moonee Valley Cricket Club is based at Ormond Park in Moonee Ponds where we have turf wicket and hard wicket ovals. We also play some junior matches at Debney's Park. In most years around 150 - 200 players run around our junior and senior grades. We celebrate all levels of ability and games take place on Friday nights (juniors), Saturday and Sundays (men's and women's teams) throughout Summer.
In 2019/20 we celebrated the opening of brand new, state-of-the-art clubrooms with 2 senior premierships (1st XI and 5th XI). Our 1st XI premiership was our 13th at the top level and came exactly 10 years after our last 1st XI premiership.
